Upgraded Approved Loan Store Now Available on All Devices

ALS_logo_R1FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New York, NY – May 29, 2013 – This week, Special Finance Group announced the launch of their new website for Approved Loan Store, their business-to-consumer division.

Approved Loan Store matches subprime credit car buyers with a special finance representative in an associated dealership. On the new website, prospective customers can learn more about the company, read auto news and buying tips, watch video testimonials from customers, or fill out a car loan application.

With the new upgrades, Approved Loan Store’s website is now compatible with all devices and operating systems including iPhone, iPad, Android, and Microsoft Surface. Approved Loan Store Founder Todd Campanella spoke about the site’s new features, saying, “It only makes sense that our website be accessible for all devices. We want to make the approval process more streamlined for everyone. If our customers give us five minutes to fill out the application, we will take care of the rest.”

“There is so much packed into the site now. Our Happy Customers page has this whole new redesign with brand-new written and video testimonials, and we’ve got the latest car news over on our blog. Hundreds of articles about what car to buy, how to get the best rates, which cars are best for families, you name it. You could spend hours on the site and not see everything, it’s really amazing.”

The launch of Approved Loan Store’s website corresponds with their new television ad campaign which started airing in early May. The ads features Robert, a DJ who needs a ride home from the club; Nicole, a young professional who just got her dream job but has no way to get to work; and the Nunez Family, parents who can’t stand the thought of their daughter going to her high school dance on the back of her boyfriend’s motorcycle. All of the television ads are available on the website as well as Approved Loan Store’s YouTube channel.

Ford SYNC Reaches Major Milestone

In the past few years, cars have become more connected at a startling rate. New cars are expected to have voice-recognition, provide GPS navigation, and have entertainment systems that work with the driver’s smartphone or iPod.

One of the first popular car connectivity systems hit a major milestone this week when Ford sold the five-millionth car equipped with the Ford SYNC, a system they developed with Microsoft. The SYNC was first introduced back in 2007. Currently the SYNC system includes GPS navigation, 911 emergency assistance, internet connection, hands-free calling with audible text messages, and an entertainment center complete with eight-inch color touch screen, Bluetooth audio streaming, Audible, and HD Radio.

In a press release from Ford, Vice President of Ford Research and Innovation Paul Mascarenas praised the SYNC, stating, “SYNC has helped us evolve as an automaker, to think and act more like a technology company, with a new level of openness and access that has forever changed how we look at our business and respond to our customers. Ultimately, SYNC embodies what Ford is all about: going further to transform innovative ideas into products that are affordable, attainable, and valuable to millions of people.” He went on to praise Microsoft for their work on the SYNC, citing the system’s ability to upgrade with software updates as the primary reason for its success.

Congratulations to Ford and Microsoft on the success of the SYNC! We at the Approved Loan Store are excited to see what the future holds for car connectivity and “smart cars,” and we appreciate the role that Ford played in paving that future.

New Stereos Offer Smart Phone Technology in Older Cars

In the past year, new smart phone technology has advanced substantially and is available in many of the 2012 models. If you don’t have a new car or are looking to purchase a used car, though, never fear. You can still get smart phone technology in older car models with a simple stereo upgrade.

According to a recent New York Times article, some of the options for people looking for an upgrade include Pioneer’s AppRadio 2, the Sony XAV-701HD, the Alpine INE-Z928HD, and the Clarion NextGate. The price ranges from $270 up to $700, and depending on the model, these systems can stream Pandora, sync with most iPhones except the iPhone 5, give driving directions, and work with Bluetooth among other features.

Most of this technology is relatively new, and I was surprised reading over these stereo upgrades and then looking at the price tag. $270 is very reasonable for one of these systems, and I’m sure with some sales hunting that someone could find a system that is even less expensive. Besides that, the systems that allow for hands-free phone calls can help cut down on distracted driving accidents which could be an incentive for parents to get a low-cost system for their teen’s car.

Readers, we want to hear from you! Would you get one of these new stereo upgrades for your car, or do you prefer to keep your car disconnected? Leave a comment below and tell us what you think!

Compact Cars: Trading Down is Trading Up

A recent study released by J.D. Power and Associates had some interesting findings about car trade-ins and how people view a vehicle downsize as a trade up.

According to the study, more than a quarter of drivers trading in their car opted to go for a smaller vehicle while only 13 percent chose to go with a larger car. Compact cars aren’t only getting love from trade-in drivers, though. Across the board, more people are buying compact cars this summer.

Why is there such an interest in smaller cars? Well, compact cars today offer great features that at one time were only available in larger vehicles. Getting a compact car no longer means sacrificing comfort or new car technology. Cars like the Dodge Dart have digital dashboard displays, customizable interiors, and other high-demand add-ons like the wireless iPhone charger. To make the deal sweeter, compact cars tend to get better fuel economy than their larger counterparts, making it a greater value in the long run.

No matter what kind of car you are looking for, from compact cars to pick-up trucks, Approved Loan Store wants to help you! Good credit, bad credit, no credit, we work to get the best rates possible for our customers.
